The Porkhub is a pig production company, a 100% black woman owned business registered as a private company under the CIPC and has a 100% BEE status. It was formed in 2022 to close the gap in the Eastern Cape Pork industry where pork is outsourced as far as Gauteng and Central province. We pride ourselves in productions of quality pork to the retail market.
We are under the mentorship of South African Pork Producers Organization. We are also a member of Eastern Cape Pork Producers association. We aim to make a positive impact in the Eastern Cape economy by doing our part in job creation and with the dream to own the whole value chain from pig production to processing to the markets.
Our farm manages all stages of a pig growth cycle from breeding to finishing selling as piglets and porkers. The future ambitions of this business are to own entire value chain of pork production to processing and making it readily available for consumption by public
